Leeds Punjabi Fun Day Event 2019

What can i say but another great event organised by the Leeds community volunteers. It was nice to see the usual faces helping out and doing something fun for the community and i thank them for putting together a well-organised and busy event.

Setting up was easy as i’d planned everything a few days before and yayyy me, i didn’t forget anything for a change. Although i did have a bit of a nightmare with my banner than broke the day before!

There were a lot more vendors than last year, the hall was full and it was nice to see some of the same faces from last year too and catch up. Throughout the day there were steady flows of people, i made some new friends and saw people who i’d been online friends with for a while too which was really lovely.

I’m still looking into other events for the year (Loughborough/Leicester Mela possibly) but if you know of any others, do let me know.

Like all events, they are tiring and by the end of the day my feet were tired and i was glad it was over. Overall it was a good day, i caught up with old friends, made new friends and had fun – gutted i didn’t get a chance to get m face painted again this year or mehndi – i’ll try again next year!
