If you’ve been following my Instagram posts lately then you will know that there’s a few new cards in store. These 3 newbies are part of ‘The Hungry Indian’ range. That means there’s a total of 27 designs available in the range.
As it’s also Raksha Bandhan soon, August 18th, I’m ready with this years’ cards that have an emoji theme…why not!? Have you ever seen emoji Rakhi cards before? There you go. They have funny yet sweet sayings that siblings share, like how much we like to annoy each other and tell on.
This year there are also matching mugs available in some designs. As this is for a special occasion they will only be available for pre-order. Please message me if you would like more info on this.
October ? Is also the month of Diwali so I’m all prepared for that. I thought I’d try something different this year design wise and its not my usual media. I’ve been playing around with indian ink and created lettering for the words happy Diwali. I scanned them in and converted them to vectors and tidied up the edges. I wanted to use bright colours and keep them vibrant after all it is the festival of light. These will be available mid-August.
Rakhi cards are all available in shop now www.theplayfulindian.com
